What is SNAP?

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) is a federal program funded by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) that offers nutrition assistance to millions of Americans, helping recipients stretch their budget to purchase nourishing food without being forced to choose between groceries and other necessary expenses.

SNAP benefits can be used to purchase food at:

  • Grocery stores and many convenience stores
  • Some farmers markets
  • Select online grocery retailers (Walmart, Amazon, and Aldi)

Do I qualify for SNAP?

To receive SNAP, you must meet certain income guidelines listed below. Household size is determined by the number of people you prepare, eat, and share meals with. Income is based on your gross income (before taxes or any other deductions). If you have questions about your eligibility, reach out to our team and we can walk through the guidelines with you.
